McKenna, GOTY 2012 is OFFICIALLY being sold online! There's not much available yet, but 2 girls outfits and McKenna's starter collection, including her 2 books, are  currently being sold!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Although not everyone in the U.S. (including myself) has not reached midnight yet, happy new year to all of those who have, and a happy new year almost to those who haven't! Check back after midnight midwest time; I'll be checking after each time zone hits 2012 to see if McKenna is on the market! She hasn't been released quite yet, and it won't surprise me if  it doesn't happen until the West celebrates, and ends the new years celebrations for America. Keep checking back everyone!

Farewell to Kanani!

Kanani Akina, girl-of-the-year 2011, will no longer be available for sale after 11:59 p.m. of December 31st, 2011. The Hawaiian doll has caught the hearts of many, teaching everyone about the "Aloha Spirit". As she goes into the American Girl: girl-of-the-year archives, I must say I will personally miss her. She was one of the most unique dolls I have seen from american girl, with her unusually long hair and creamy mocha skin, I found her so different and beautiful.
Unfortunately, all of Kanani's collection except her party dress (as of when I checked today, around 1:00 p.m.) is sold out, including Kanani herself.

The American Girl: Girl of the Year 2012 has been available to the public for a few days now, but I just thought I'd tell everyone about her anyways!

MOVIE/ BOOKS

It is currently believed they will be creating a McKenna Movie. (As they did for Chrissa, GOTY 2009) There will be two books available, Meet McKenna (pictured above) and McKenna, Ready To Fly! Both are written by Mary Casanova. In addition to the usual books, there will be a girl activity book, Take The Challenge! where girls can challenge both themselves and others with fun and exciting new tasks.

Hello! I am starting this blog for all of you who want updates on American Girl! I DO NOT OWN IMAGES POSTED UNLESS NOTED! ALL URLs WILL BE POSTED!
